Greetings. Autumn is here and the bastards of Egonaut are crawling deeper into their cave. The song writing is doing just fine and we're all very thrilled about rehearsing our new stuff. We’re also about to snap some new promo pictures that you will able to see here on our site within a few weeks.
Hi friends! Since summer's almost over I guess it's about time to fill you in a bit on the current actions in the Egonaut camp.
The past gig at Kanalrocken, Karlsborg was a blast and we feel that it was a great finish for the almost two year long touring cycle that we've been doing for the EP triology (Soundtrack to a Fistfight, Circus Egonaut and N-Pire). It was also sort of a mini celebration since it's been five years since we first formed Egonaut! Great thanks to the bands and crew at Kanalrocken for taking good care for us! Hopefully we'll post some pictures shortly.
So with that gig out of the way some of you may wonder "what's next?" We've decided to stay off the road the coming months in order to spend more time working on more new songs as well as preparing and rehearsing for a possible full-length album recording. Inbetween gigging, work, running Bastard Rock Records and EP recordings we sort of feel that we haven't been able to focus 100% on creating new music and evolving as a band and we're really looking forward to spending the coming months in the studio working on new, epic stuff.
Even though the current goal is to make new music we can't however rule out that we might be doing a show or two this fall/winter just for the fun of it. We will continue to keep you posted on what we're upto so make sure to stop by every now and then!
Hey folks! This Saturday we will be playing at Bunkerfestivalen in Bengtsfors; if you're in the neighbourhood please don't hesitate to drop by and check us out!
Besides the Bengtsfors-gig we've also been confirmed to play Kanalrocken in Karlsborg; more info on that coming up.
We're also hard at work writing new material, we've got about five songs ready now and if the creativity keeps flowing like this it's not impossible that there might be a full length album sometime in 2011, keep your fingers crossed! We will also try to release a single this fall.

Greetings! On the 1st of May we will drop by Hellofakväll @ Club Divine – Borås, to give their visitors an exclusive pre-listening of our new EP, “N-pire”. All 4 tracks will be on to nights playlist so meet us there, have a good time and perhaps a few to many beers. During this weekend the EP will also be released for downloading on our website.
